Definition
Describes measures used for the improvement of existing processes with an efficient collaboration of business partners an areas involved in the process e.g. by means of standardised communication channels, performance agreements, or the reconciled use of competences and resources for the joint fulfilment of tasks. It is also aimed at through Supply Chain Management, the use of the REFA-process-anlaysis or Value stream design.
