Definition

Remuneration element aside from the requirement-related remuneration component. Aimed at reimbursing the performance result and, if applicable, the (work) behavior of (groups of) employees, e.g. in the form of piecework, bonus or target wage. The applicable performance characteristics, the methods for the performance determination and the corresponding knowledge are agreed in the labor or company agreement.
