Definition

Term used in different ways. Refers, for example, to:

• the ratio of the output (work result) of the work system, related to a specific time, example: piece/shift,
• the creation of goods and services valued with money within the framework of operational or inter-operational processes or work,
• a work result in an agreed form, e.g. quantity of work, time spent/operation, max. number of defects/order, degree of fulfillment of key figures, deadline fulfillment.
