Definition

REFA time type. It describes the time used to carry out setup tasks, also as a part of the work order time and occupancy time. Setup time components can be:

• in humans, the time types setup basic time t_rg, setup allowance time t_rv and setup recovery time t_er
• in operating means, the time types operating mean setup basic time t_rgB and operating mean setup allowance time t_rvB

Setup times are not value-adding processes, but they do occupy capacities.
