Self-Recording

Definition

Indicates the recording of work data by the employees (e.g. as an analysis of daily routine), as well as registering interesting information by operating resources (manufacturing data collection MDE). Self-recording by humans allows the capturing of the work process, the truly executed tasks or actual times with relatively low staff deployment even for longer periods of time and in work situation that are difficult to access.

Different methods can be used, whereby the necessary knowledge for their application needs to be taught beforehand on a case-by-case basis (e.g. procedure, process type or time type).
