Definition
General term for the remuneration of non-independent work in monetary form. In the case of employees covered by collective agreements, it regularly includes a collectively agreed basic salary, performance-related pay (performance bonus), collectively agreed and, where applicable, above-agreement bonuses and supplements, e.g. for overtime, Sunday and night work, workloads or hardships.
