Requirements of work

Definition

Description of characteristics for the identification of work tasks, especially their demands on the performance of the persons to be deployed or deployed for their successful execution according to type and level. Criteria, methods and other facts are agreed upon by the collective bargaining partners. The determination of work requirements is directed at the work task, not at the person. It is carried out by means of requirement analyses or via guideline examples (tariff, level). Work requirements are to be determined in such a way that they can be fulfilled by an averagely qualified person with the appropriate training under the prevailing working conditions and with the REFA standard performance of 100 %. They are of considerable importance for personnel development, for the design of work tasks and for the requirement-related remuneration component.
