Definition
Indication of the utilization of operating means, work systems, capacity or work time; usually related to a specific period (day, month, quarter). As an example, it is defined as the ratio (key number) of actual utilization to maximum possible utilization. In the case of multi-position work organization, it describes the fraction of time that is utilisable by humans for the determination of the number of controllable operating means or places of action - taking into account all surcharges for allowance time and, if necessary, for recovery time.
