Definition
Refers to the performance capability of companies, work systems, individual operating means or people i.e. the ability to execute tasks. The quantitative capacity is expressed by the number of people and/or operating means or time variables (hours for development, production or man hours), the qualitative capacity is expressed by applicable procedures or by qualifications where employees are concerned.
