Tasks

Definition

Parts of the overall operational task as well as of work tasks formed by division of labor. Core components of all companies and the work organization, through the execution of which the respective company purpose is fulfilled. They comprise special and very different tasks which are assigned to a work system, a person or a group or a technical system, for example. In some cases, they are further subdivided into sub-tasks or subtasks, or are composed and grouped from these. They can be performed both by persons (e.g. assembly) and by automatic systems (e.g. submerged arc welding).
