Operation elements definition

Definition

Term for those parts of a process that cannot be further subdivided either technologically or temporally. They occur in all tasks and processes. Their recording is time-consuming and takes place, for example, by means of video recording or the use of a system of predetermined times. They are also colloquially referred to as "movements", although they also include technical process elements such as automatic machine operation.
