Influence factor

Definition

Variables which influence work execution, e.g. the time requirement. Therefore they have to be identified, for example, in time studies and have to be carefully considered (cf. for example reproducibility). Their specification is a measurement of the amount of influence they have. There are significant and insignificant influencing factors (e.g. remuneration policies, shift system). Insignificant influencing factors are ignored in time studies because of their minor influence on the time for the execution of a process section.
