Definition
Used to systemytically record unscheduled flow segments and determine their extent (frequency, duration of occurrence). The results are needed to derive process-improving measures and to develop target distribution times. Special time types and different methods are used, e.g. the REFA time study or the multi-moment recording. All determined times are actual times or mean values of actual times.
