Quantitative data

Definition

Data and information in alpha-numeric form to designate and assess facts (e.g., workload, number of people, illuminance) that can be measured or counted. Measurement data are, for example, time data, exposure data, measurements (weights), length, distances, distance or load due to heavy work. They are expressed as a numerical value and unit. Count data are, for example, frequencies (number of defects per shift).
