Definition
Simple method for recording selected process or order throughputs in the company or in business units, clear presentation of the results with reference to time-dependent key figures, e.g.
Degree of value added = sum of processing times / throughput time,
and subsequent derivation of improvements that can be implemented as quickly as possible. The procedure corresponds in principle to the REFA workflow analysis.
