Definition
Junior executives or "high potentials" are employees who are making the transition to their first management position in a company. A distinction can be made between two groups. The first group includes young graduates who have only minimal practical professional and management experience and are further developed through trainee programs. The second group consists of employees who are already working in the company and who are recommended for a position as a junior manager through their special commitment, character and extraordinary success.
