Definition

Designation for methods for the uniform recording and evaluation of workload, e.g. as a result of handling loads. Evaluates characteristics such as duration of load (time), load (effort), body position and conditions of execution. It is considered to be an established occupational science finding. It was developed by the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health.
