In July 2015 EPCOS production managers from all over the world met in Austria’s Styria. At the production managers conference held for the first time at the site in Deutschlandsberg the main topics were statistical process control (SPC) and Monozukuri („Ideal production process").
The patron of the conference was Michael Stahl, head of the site in Deutschlandsberg. More than 40 manufacturing managers and specialists from various business groups attended the conference. Declared aim of the seminar was to create a uniform understanding of SPC and Monozukuri as important part of a highly automated production culture across business group boundaries.
Represented by Bernd von Regius, who gave a lecture on "Quality improvement in production", REFA was able to make an important contribution to achieving the goal.
