For a third time the REFA-Basic-Training course in English, consisting of 100 lessons was conducted at EPCOS/TDK in Szombathely, Hungary. As in the previous seminars the focus on practical application was high. The seven participants were able to apply the acquired knowledge directly to current tasks in their own production areas. The focal point of the seminar was elimination or minimisation of waste and an increase of value adding shares in the planned course of process. Additionally, the workplace design was meant to be optimised to boost motivation of employees. The results of the project work of both teams were presented to management on the last day. The leadership was impressed by the results, congratulated the employees on the success and was looking forward to the next seminar in autumn 2016.
