With about 500 staff ANLAS Lastik produces tyres for motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, bicycles ATVs go-karts golf buggies and tractors in Kaynasli/Düzce. The management decided to launch a qualification initiative in cooperation with MESS and REFA International to boost productivity and competitiveness of the company. In January 2017, 15 selected engineers and technicians were then trained in topics such as time recording techniques, activity sampling and other REFA topics. The participants were enthusiastic about the 5-day seminar. A project team was formed that is now in charge of data collection. It is their declared aim to improve the utilisation of machine and personnel capacities based on the measured time values.
