Indicates activities and measures for permanent improvement, e.g. of processes, work systems, etc., as well as for the reduction of waste; form of active cooperation of employees in the development and realization of ongoing changes, also for the improvement of the work situation or within the framework of target agreements. Aimed at the continuous improvement of products, processes and services cost-effectively in "small" steps. The teaching of suitable methods (analysis, documentation) and the visualization of results considerably promote employee cooperation and motivation.
