EPCOS/TDK in the western Hungarian town of Szombathely is one of the development and manufacturing centres of the international TDK Group in Hungary. The site exists since 1994. About 2000 employees work on an area of close to 50,000 m2. The company produces a wide variety of inductive components, inductors and EMC filters amongst them.
REFA International held an in-house seminar for staff from the middle management level. The participants showed great interest in the REFA-Methods and the theoretical basics were put into practice immediately. The participants analysed and redesigned work systems in production. The proposals and their implementation were intensely discussed by the participants and were presented to the top-management at the end.
