Forbo Siegling GmbH is an internationally active manufacturer of conveyor belts and flat belts made of plastics. It owns eight production facilities in Europe, America and Asia. REFA International AG was asked to conduct a two-tier REFA-Training Program at the Forbo plant in Malacky, Slovak Republic, aiming at introducing work management according to REFA.
As a first step, participants from various departments were familiarised with the REFA core competences in a two-day short seminar. This was followed by several days of in-depth training in which the topics of data determination and time recording techniques were intensively imparted by "training-on-the-job".
The participants were happy that thanks to REFA-Methods in production they are now able to conduct continuous data determination in the departments of capacity calculation, planning, performance determination and cost accounting.
